I am certain that I have been honest with you regarding my lack of creativity and overall design talents but what I haven’t told you is how much I really WANT to be a genius designer. I love the pretties that creative people share with the world and that’s why I am thrilled to show you this Fall inspired tablescape from a dynamic group of wedding industry talent. Take any (or all) of these ideas and apply them to your rehearsal dinner, reception or even Thanksgiving table for a special touch.
The details are exquisite and I love how the red background makes the colors pop. The yellow is perfectly balanced with the neutral tones, the textures are varied which adds interest to the overall setting, the linen is chocolate brown and the crinkled finish makes it really special, the fringing on the menu adds just the right amount of “fancy”, the glassware throughout helps keep the table light and airy while the metal details ground the table and let us know that this is no kids party.
Imagine hosting a dinner party and having your guests come upon this scene? Without a doubt, they would be impressed. Here is what event designer Ashley Richardson of Ashley Gain Wedding and Events tell us:
The inspiration was totally about the season of fall. In Arizona one day it’s hot and then suddenly you wake up and it’s nice outside. We don’t get that gradual shift into seasons like the rest of the country. BUT that doesn’t mean that we can’t use the fall colors and textures as inspiration for a table.
Fall is totally and NATURALLY romantic. There is something about the colors and overall feel of the day that makes you want to grab a glass of wine, be surrounded by people you love, and eat a nice warm meal! Isn’t that what a wedding should be like?!
If romance is your bottom line, then I think bringing in fall elements is one of the best ways you can truly reflect it.
Also, it’s a great theme to use for a more natural bride. Almost every element of fall is from nature. You can literally use all natural elements to make your table beautiful!!!!
