It would be utterly impossible for brides to be unaware that Modern Vintage Style has made it’s case as the hottest thing in weddings. At every turn, there are accessories that harken the 50′s era classic style. We see sweetly sophisticated dresses and even makeup that reminds us of the Cleavers (for the perfect red lipstick and application tips from Corinna B., international makeup artist, click here). Perhaps we are drawn to more innocent times, although I think Mad Men has blown that notion away. Perhaps it’s just fun to play with history and spin it to suit today’s modern style.

I recently had the privilege of attending the Valley Vintage Experience at the Hotel Valley Ho. The show was a hoppin’ good time and the fashions from Robert Black, of the Ford Robert Black Modeling Agency , wowed the crowd. You can visit his unique shop in Scottsdale where you will swim in a sea of authentic vintage styles.
