Brittany and Anthony’s wedding invitation suite is a spectacular example of form, function and fabulousness. Every piece, from the sophisticated silk folio to the charming flower cones, has a purpose. While the same sparkling gold and soft cream appear on all the pieces, some embellishments vary, making all of them appear to be unique works of art.
My crown is called content, a crown that seldom kings enjoy.
Imagine the thrill of receiving this suite in the mail. Open the double-faced satin ribbon wrapped silk folio with a rhinestone buckle and inside you’ll find an invitation bearing the couple’s custom crown-embossed monogram. Response cards, coordinating envelopes, maps, and an invitation to the next-day brunch are all tucked in a special pocket.
Designer Kim McDowell of The Event Essentials designed the couple’s crest especially for Brittany and Anthony. “The bride was a former Miss Arizona USA and has a great love for beautiful gold crowns and jewels. We incorporated this into the design, as well as the cross, which represents the couple’s faith and the covenant of marriage.”
In keeping with tradition, the monogram includes the couple’s first initials for all pieces leading up to the actual marriage. The elements that come after—such as reception signage and the die cut menu—include their last initial, K.
