We Went to a Garden Party
Imagine this: bold flowers not just in bouquets and centerpieces, but everywhere!
At the base of Camelback and Mummy mountains, one of Arizona’s finest wedding venues awaits with an expansive event lawn and outdoor patios perfect for a party—any party. Whether you’re planning a wedding or a wedding-related event such as a rehearsal dinner, shower or day-after brunch, bring on the blossoms, and watch the space transform into a paradise of petals.
El Chorro has long been a desirable wedding venue, and the styling and decor that event designer Victoria Canada brings to its outdoor spaces provide plenty of inspiration. With pink- and red-toned flowers, plus lots of blue and green and little pops of sunset orange, the patio comes alive with inviting spots for guests to gather and celebrate.
The Head Table anchors the patio scene, from its bloom-splashed linen to the flower-adorned menus and place cards, all accented with bouquets and lined by Tuscan Cafe ivory chairs. Secondary tables draped in solid blue keep the floral decor going with the menus and centerpieces.
It all looks too pretty to eat.
The dessert table includes cupcakes, a cookie tower and stacks of rose-colored crystal plates, all interspersed with blooms. The floral decor on the cake adds to the day-of styling.
Vintage sofas and armchairs
invite guests to sit and chat by the outdoor fireplace—ideal for a post-sunset gathering.
The invitation suite and signage
all draw from the flower garden motif, with the brilliant pink blooms running throughout. Notice the personalization of menus and invitations, with guests’ names scrolled on each piece.
