They pulled out all the stops...
When Rosemarie Burgos and Zachariah Zimbelman wed in late May, they pulled out all the stops for the wedding of their dreams, which was executed flawlessly by consultant Amy Mancuso. Recalls the bride, “She saw my vision from the very beginning and not only did she make it happen, she made it even more amazing.”
Married at St. Mary’s Basilica, the ceremony was a dream come true for Rosemarie, who says “We knew we were going to have a big wedding, but somehow we still wanted it to feel intimate and romantic, and it was, amazingly, with 400 people.” The ceremony was officiated by Fr. Joseph Hennessey, who first met Rosemarie when she was five years old. As she entered the church in her gown adorned with embroidery, guests commented that the bride had never looked more beautiful.
The finer details kept the large celebration at the Ritz Carlton from feeling overwhelming—to the guests, that is. “Amy brought my mom, dad, husband and I into the ballroom before the guests were allowed to enter,” says Rosemarie, “and I remember instantly crying at how beautiful it was.” She continues, “The lighting was just right, focusing on the gorgeous centerpieces, and the linens had just enough sparkle to catch your eye.” The floral arrangements, featuring a profusion of fragrant roses, hydrangeas, lilies and stephanotis, set the tone for a magnificent evening. “I’ve never cried over so much joy in my life,” says Rosemarie.
Following the ceremony, the couple’s guests dined on an exquisitely prepared meal of filet mignon and lobster, then enjoyed an evening of dancing. “The band was superb…there were times when I think I didn’t see one person sitting down.” The newlyweds spent the evening dancing and celebrating family and friends, including many who had flown in from Honduras, Spain and Mexico.
