a floral fantasy
I had always imagined my wedding
day since I was a little girl, and I was
bound and determined to make it
everything I had ever hoped for and
then some,” recalls Tiffany Wilson,
who wed Ashley Falsafi this May.
The pair exchanged vows on a beautifully manicured lawn
at the Firesky Resort & Spa, with the sounds of a cascading
waterfall in the background. “One of the best things that made
the whole event wonderful,” she recalls, “were all the beautiful
flower arrangements.”
“I gave the florist a lot of flexibility with the basic concept
and colors of what I wanted,” recalls Tiffany, “and it turned out
better than I could have imagined.” The petal-strewn aisle was
lined with pots of brightly colored flowers. Guest chairs were
adorned with hand-made pink programs bearing a heart charm.
The wedding party included a special guest: the couple’s dog,
Lennon. The bride explains his unique role in the festivities:
“We had a little boy as a ring bearer for the beginning entrance
and then when the rings were actually needed, our dog came
out on cue.”
Following the ceremony, the couple celebrated in a beautifully decorated ballroom, featuring trees twinkling with pink
lights, glowing candlescapes and flowers in varying shades of
pink.
Guests enjoyed sweet treats throughout the evening at a
decorative candy “bar,” while a photobooth provided the guests
with keepsakes of the event.
“Our cake table was beautiful with painted “I DO” wording
lined along the numerous petals that flowed from the cake, top
to bottom,” recalls Tiffany.
The bridal bouquet toss was a surprise to the guests. When
the bride made her traditional toss, the arrangement split into
five different small bouquets with messages attached to each
one. Since there was just one garter, that lucky guy got to dance
with all five girls who caught bouquets.
